Ok, so my plan of getting up at 4am this morning and doing Insanity before I went to work just didn't happen. However, I did get started earlier than usual tonight and Insanity at 8pm is much easier than Insanity at 11pm. And I have the sweat to prove my intensity level!
I have one more day of Insanity this week before my rest day and then I will have completed week two! I'm getting into a routine now and it's getting easier to see the finish line.
The crazy thing is, I'm not losing any weight. Actually, I have gained two pounds since I started the program. My muscles are definitely stronger and I have much more endurance, but this is not a weight loss program. I am eating better too and smaller portions and yet, I gain. This program is proving the reality that muscle weighs more than fat. Once I complete this program, I think I might opt for fitness that does not beef up my muscles so much, but we shall see. I am only two weeks in.
